Update

I'm promise I'm not being lazy ^^. I've been busy getting ready to go back to school (which I have to go back a week early to help with international studuent orientations) as well as my building spree. I'm still afraid to try and upload in case I'm still having issues. I looked around the web as far my e-zine. I'm doing two now. One will be a mini one deadicated to all styles of my creations (I build and do interiors as well as create Sims for a wide range of taste because I like too know how to do as much as possible) however when I play personally it's something completely different. I always play with artsy/musician type Sims. They tend to work real jobs only to save and open art galleries, cafes, bars, etc. They are always goth, punl, cyberpunk, hard rock, bohemian, outcast types and my location of choice is Bridgeport (I use the other worlds to build all my normal traditional lots in).

With that said I'm doing my main magazine on sub/counter culture and the scene that my Sims live in. I haven't seen a e-zine like that. It will be all aspects of lifestyle but I don't want to give too many details. I also found an awesome site to host it on that allows it to function like a real magazine! I have a name for it but I'll reveal that when I'm done shooting for and have created the cover.

I've been playing alot, started a new family and they will be the feature of my new mag. Well I have to fire up Late Night so I can do some photoshoots for the front cover and feature stories.

P.S. I finally gave my drab blog a make-over. Its the same template from my real life fashion/life-style blog but I made an awesome new banner. The Sims featured in it are the two new Sims I'm playing with, Lydiah and Kaoru Kimura.

Also I learned how to DL cc and I've never been happier.

Well c-ya!

Updates and Plans

I'm going to start on my e-zine tomorrow it will be my second issue but the first I post on the web. I'm alo going to redo my blog it looks so boring compared to my fashion/life style blog. Also tomorrow I'm going to do a post dedicated to what I feel is my greatest achievement as an interior designer in the Sim world. here's two contest I'm considering entering as well.

Here are some shot's of houses I've recently built and hope to have ready to upload tomorrow. Also I'm praying that I'm able to upload to the site again.

I'll post one exterior and one interior shot:

Two London rowhouses, no interior shot since it just one crappy bachelor's apartment inside for my struggling artist and her muscian gf living there

More London Rowhouses no interior since I have yet to decorate but I did the gardens.

Not a house but I did create a rather pretty Sim who loves dancing on bar counters!
One of two luxury homes I'm working on inspired by villas in Thailand- this is unfinished since luxury homes are huge and I pay so much attention to detail. The pool is wicked!

A smaller more affordable Thai Villa. Finished and called "The Hope Estate" I just have to change the default picture and upload.

The living area of a modern luxury home I'm working on. No picture of the exterior.

My new favorite house. It looks huge in pictures but its not. Lovely contemporary eco friendly home. Finished and named "The Green Estate"

A small 10x10 eco friendly tree house on the beach, no interior shot. All i did was place furniture and then saved and quit.

It's been soooo long!

Hello, I've lot some followers of this blog which is okay since I fell off the face of the earth!

I had stopped playing my game for two reason, (1) I couldnt upload any home or Sims and I'm still not sure if I can and (2) I had literally no memory left on computer but I fixed all that and I'm enjoying playing again, what a wonderful break!

Also I'm so excited for Sims 3 PETS!!!!! I still have to get out door living and I'm now warming up to the idea of getting Ambitions since I want a few of my sims to be tattoo artist.

Remeber when I said I do an e-zine to feature all my design work. Well I had started on it in Jan and stopped but I have one more story to finish and I'll post but I will post ...nevermind the cover (and all that I have so far is on my external hard drive and I'm not whipping it out). Beside I really want to start on the newer one. I'm currently building a beach front community of Thai styled and decorated Villas.

So I'll post sneak peaks of inspiration, floor plans, and patterns I created for the project plus the link to my studio an case you see a pattern you would like to DL.

All of these pictures were selected randomly and are inspiration for different homes of similar style:

 Patterns:

DL LINK There's about 4 or 5 pages of new patterns so have fun! Also alot of them are Coffered Ceiling since I never really see Ceiling pattterns in the Exchange.

I'm jealous of this....I wish we could do curve walls and stairs in game as well as split level homes without cheats/hacks/mods:

I've been builing alot of London Style row homes that hopefully I can upload, they're on either 10x10 lots or 10x15. Alot I going to do a feature on one of my Sims home interior, it was inspired by one of my favorite fashion designers (Betsey Johnson) real life home! Here goes some sneak peek shots:

Working around the kinks.

Well I have accepted that I can no longer upload anything above 4.50MB so I guess this alters everything for me but being one to make lemonade when life  hands me lemons I've come up with a swell idea. I will build shells and not like in game high rise shells. I love building and will let no glitch stand in my way. I will still build homes but instead of uploading them completely decorated I will only upload the outside structure and the floor layout and walls, floors etc. hopefully basic (counter, tub toilet etc.) Hopefull this will bring my file sizes down (the usually range from 4.78MB-6.11MB). With my interior design I'm very picky about deatails, I literally customize everything (my homes are made with alot of love). This may seem like a draw back (especially is you would like to DL but you don't like decorating the lot yourself) but I view it as a positive. It creates a more realistic experience. Moving in and having to add your own furniture piece by piece, I love it! I also am thinking of making deliberate fixer uppers because there are Simmers who love to remodel. I am also going to do my own interior design e-zine (online magazine). That will give ideals and creative tips (also featuring the staged interior of my lots). I also am going to start uploading my custom patterns again so you can recreate looks of mine to suit your own personal taste. Lot's will come with a materials list just in case. It will be like a real life home design business except for Sims! I am so happy to be happy about Siming again!
Well, cheer and happy holidays.
